Incentify enables users to create mini-communities called 'Clubs', that let them share and discover music across multiple streaming platforms.
Instead of having to go through the cluttered experience of sharing song links on messaging apps, or relying on generic playlists curated by such streaming apps, users can discover, share and chat about all things music in these Clubs.
Our initial product launch was as a web-based application that enabled users to share playlists between Spotify and Apple Music.
However, the user insights we gathered from that launch, were that despite the product solving a need for the consumer, music consumption and sharing was inherently a mobile-native behaviour. In order for us to get to scale, we would need to launch a mobile app.
This made us re-look at our roadmap of building Incentify as a web-first platform, and unlike most Web3 projects, priortise launching on iOS in order to get the traction required to give us enough leverage, and attract artists to directly upload and monetise their music onto Incentify.
